Wyższa Szkoła Kształcenia Zawodowego started creating new library resources based on the basic and supplementary literature indicated by academic teachers in the syllabuses. These resources are consistently and systematically enriched with new bibliographic items. In connection with the development of the University, it is planned to expand the library resources with literature in the field of administration, law, management, economy and psychology. Thanks to the "Student Panel", students have the opportunity to borrow a book without leaving home. The item indicated by them is ordered and then sent by post or courier to the their address. Returns are possible at the headquarters of the University / Library, a night safe located in the University's hall or by post as described above.
The thematic scope of the monograph gathered so far includes: state and law, administration, science of politics and international relations, national and international security, detailed issues of internal security, sociology and psychology, humanities (especially basic textbooks on philosophy and ethics), state and institutional management , Human Resources management. Access to the press was provided on-line.
The university subscribes to the following magazines: Military Technique History, Report - Military - Technology - Defense, Military and Technology Security, Weapons Industry, Facility and Business Protection and Security, Criminalistics Problems.
In addition, the University signed a contract for the provision of library and reading services with the Dolnośląska Biblioteka Publiczna im. Tadeusz Mikulski. The library has up-to-date resources in the field of social sciences, including science about politics and issues of state security. The contract covers:

providing library resources in traditional and digitized form (books, magazines, current press);

access to databases and e-books within DBP's access;

providing the reading room and its current resources.

Scanning of books and magazines
It is possible to obtain scans of books and journals from the library resources by sending an order to the following e-mail address: Biblioteka@wskz.pl Each library user may order a scan of a maximum of 3 items per week (up to 30 pages each). The waiting time for scans depends on the number of orders per week. The library is not responsible for any infringement of copyright by the person placing the order.
It is not possible to order scans of entire books. Please read the table of contents and provide the exact pages that the scan should refer to.
Returning borrowed books
The return can be made at the seat of the library during its opening hours. In the rest of the time, you can use the launcher in the building's hall. It is also possible to return books by post.
All students with a disability degree certificate can take advantage of the extended period of borrowing books. It is allowed to rent for a maximum of 6 weeks. Additionally, it is possible to appoint a student's representative who can use the library's resources and borrow / return books as a replacement. The power of attorney is required in writing (the template is available in the "Student Panel" and is available at the library) and is issued for a specified period of time. The power of attorney may be withdrawn at any time.
